I really enjoyed A Guide To The Good Life: The Ancient Art of Stoic Joy. One of the great fears many of us face is that despite all our effort and striving, we will discover at the end that we have wasted our life. It might be up your alley as well. There is a book that came out a few years ago that seems fairly popular, called A Guide to the Good Life: The Ancient Art of Stoic Joy, (here) by William Irvine. One of the more interesting books I've read this year is William B. Tried to read Seneca's Dialogues and Essays, but it's a slogfest.
